Served as a technology expert for AD, Exchange, and scripting to both the engineering and operations teams.  Was responsible for the testing, design, and implementation of Exchange 2007 worldwide, which included over 130,000 mailboxes and 300,000 public folders.  Role included providing customer and prospect briefings on Dell’s Exchange environment and Exchange 2007 plans.  Project manager duties preformed included team coordination, project plan management, scheduling, and task management.

Senior Product Manager                                                                                             May 2003 – July 2005

Responsible for the design and management of Configuresoft’s Active Directory and Exchange modules.  Managed the project to revamp the user interface and reporting aspects of Configuresoft’s core product, Enterprise Configuration Manager (ECM).  Ensured that the products I managed had the required features and functionality to make them viable to organizations based on my expertise in the areas of AD, Exchange, Windows, and systems management.  Focused on market trends, feedback from customers and sales to continue the development of these products to provide additional solutions in future versions.

Product Manager, Windows Administration & Migration Products                           July 2000 to July 2002

Primarily responsible for technical direction and management of Directory and Resource Administrator, directory management solution for Windows.  In addition, I managed Exchange Administrator and File Security Administrator, two other products in the Administration Suite (http://www.netiq.com/products/admin).

·         Responsible for product requirement and specification documents of each major release that outlined all new features and changes in detail

·         Worked with the sales and consulting teams on design recommendations, implementation plans, and custom solutions

·         Reviewed and created scripts, white papers, and custom solutions for the “Knowledge Depot”

Key Accomplishments

·         Assisted in the design and planning for multiple enterprise level rollouts of Active Directory and Exchange

·         Created the “Knowledge Depot”, which is a website where customers, employees, and partners can post or download scripts, custom solutions, and white papers

In my role as a system engineer, I was part of a sales team that focused on the southeast.  My responsibility was to demonstrate, setup, deploy, and provide on-site support for Mission Critical products.  In addition, I worked with multiple customers on planning and implementing Exchange, carrying out NT domain consolidations, and the migration to Windows 2000.

·         Consulted with customers on NT security, domain structure, planning for Windows 2000, migrating to Exchange, and worked with customers on the roll-out of Mission Critical products at the enterprise level

At Vanstar I was an on-site senior Microsoft consultant at BellSouth Cellular (now Cingular Wireless).  While on-site I helped BellSouth re-design their entire Windows domain structure, roll-out SMS, and start the migrating from Microsoft Mail to Exchange.
