With eDiscovery, teams can work together to respond to a discovery request or complete an internal audit. Search criteria can be saved and shared among users, ensuring consistent and accurate results for frequently used search patterns. Messages can be placed on retention hold to prevent deletion and then shared with other auditors or legal staff to facilitate a review workflow. Upon completion, review results are exportable in Outlook® PST files suitable for external counsel review or court-ready production.
Compliance
Proper retention and disposition of email is critical when meeting internal corporate policy objectives or external regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley Act, HIPAA, SEC Rule 17a-4, and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. Mimosa NearPoint provides a tamper resistant archive and an automated system that enforces retention of email by keeping track of email creation time and applying policies set by the administrator. At the expiration of the retention period email is permanently expunged from the NearPoint server.
