More Background:
Computers and technology have been my passion since 1986. I've been a Microsoft Exchange MVP since 2006, one of 14 in the US and 92 globally as of October 2012, and have focused on AD, Exchange, and Windows for over seventeen years. During this time I have been a technical consultant, project manager, a product manager, and helped build out the consulting department had multiple startup companies.
In addition to my AD and Exchange work, I have performed implementations of SharePoint, MIIS/ILM/FIM, MOM/SCOM, SMS, and various system management solutions. My contributions to the industry include various technical articles, white papers, participation in numerous forums, MVP related work, speaking opportunities, and training engagements.
I have worked with all versions of Exchange and SharePoint from the alphas to RTM and run multiple Exchange and SharePoint servers to host 30+ domains for friends and family. In addition to my extensive technical experience, I have strong communication, public speaking, documentation, project management, and product management skills.
For fun I love to goto concerts (600+), ride dirt bikes, camp, ski, hike, go rafting and I'm an avid computer gamer (without much time to play them).
I volunteer at my Longmont humane society, in the early and late riding season with the forestry service and NCTR to keep clear and maintain trails, and occasionally with Habitat for Humanity. I’m also very active on-line on social, environmental, and political reform issue.
Please see my resume for additional information regarding my experience.
Note to recruiters and others looking for a consultant:
My bill rate for short term on-site projects is $250/hr; rates are reduced for long term and remote projects.
I am not willing to relocate out of CO nor am I willing to do more than 50% travel for a project. Almost all of my projects for the last five years have been done working remotely 80% of the time.
